even the leg is colourized the wine red.

hollow handle is showing tea colours

Laurence Brabant

English translated version

When we looking at something for long time,
we probably will get bored of their ruled shape.
It may be an inspiration of the following glassware to be designed.
They break the rule, the hollow stern glasses.

However, they could be displayed inside a visual art museum,
they probably could not showing up in a domestic product museum.

See above pictures #1 #2 #3

The reason simply is hygiene
In daily life you cannot easily wash a glass like that;
Also, the handle could be get hot with your fingers.

Why we seldom see a hollow stern high glass?
That is trivial.
Therefore, I usually tell my classmates,
When you suddenly light up a cool idea, and getting high-blood happy,
Clam down and ask yourself, why haven’t somebody doing this before I was born?

After seeing Laurence Brabant’s other crafts,
I found many many great works, showing her creative, balancing in term of art and usability,
Maybe this time the “hollow in empty” glass have the little problem that we can think again.

Here is the web shows up her pretty glassware.
